- Loadyne Logistics Inc is a growing freight brokerage company that is seeking a motivated and experienced Freight Agent to join our team as a 1099 independent contractor. As a Freight Agent with Loadyne Logistics, you will have the opportunity to work remotely, manage and grow your own customer base, negotiate rates with carriers, and coordinate shipments from start to finish
Responsibilities:
Develop new business opportunities with shippers and carriers.
Negotiate rates with carriers to ensure competitive pricing.
Coordinate all aspects of the shipment process, from pickup to delivery.
Maintain and develop strong relationships with customers and carriers.
Ensure customer satisfaction by providing exceptional service and resolving any issues that may arise.
Manage daily operations and maintain accurate records in our transportation management system.
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in freight sales or operations
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong negotiation skills
Ability to work independently and remotely
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and transportation management systems
