- My name is Joel Baker and I’m not your ordinary insurance agent. I’ve been in trucking since 1983. I first began as a driver hauling heavy equipment, building supplies and oversize loads for construction projects. In 1999 I purchased my first truck, applied for my own FMCSA operating authority and began hauling meat, dairy and produce. Over the years I’ve enjoyed success owning reefers, vans, flat beds, auto haulers and hoppers.
